Madrid, 3 January 2022 – Siux, the Spanish specialist padel brand, has launched its new Siux Electra ST2, courtesy of Franco Stupaczuk, the 9th-ranked professional on the World Padel Tour.

The new padel racket is an upgrade of the Electra ST1, with which the Argentinian player claimed the Mendoza Premier and French Open, and also finished as runner-up in Amsterdam, Malaga and Brussels. Stupaczuk, the Spanish brand’s big signing in 2022, once again worked in close collaboration with the Siux team on the design of the racket, to ensure that it fulfils his expectations.

This new Siux model features 15K carbon on both faces, giving it a much softer touch than the previous version, as well as a 100% carbon tubular structure, making it a favourite among padel players for its toughness and durability.

A medium balance, comfortable and highly manoeuvrable racket, the Siux Electra ST2 delivers good control in defence, while its hardness allows it to strike the ball with great power. Meanwhile, its hybrid form combined with medium soft EVA foam allows for a range of playing styles.  Siux Electra ST2 boasts Shockout® anti-vibration technology in black and a Dual Pro Grip for a more secure and comfortable feel in your hand throughout the match, lending the racket a high-energy, vibrant character unlike any other on the market.

Siux incorporates into his team the current number 3 in the World Padel Tour Race 2022, the Argentine Sanyo Gutiérrez. The Spanish brand specialized in padel has signed a three-year deal with the player, making him part of Team Siux.

The experienced player Carlos Daniel Gutiérrez Amaya, known as Sanyo, joins Team Siux. The successful player, previously ranked number 1 on the World Padel Tour in 2018, is now going hand in hand with Siux and in search of many more titles.

Born in San Luis (1984, Argentina), he started playing padel at the age of 11. At 15 he was already competing in the professional circuit and in 2006 he moved to Spain  with a clear goal: to become one of the best professional padel players in the world. In 2007, the ‘Magician of San Luis’ reached his first Padel Pro Tour Circuit quarterfinals and since then his career has only grown.

He has many titles to his credit. He won first place in several tournaments such as Valencia, Malaga, Madrid and Seville, among others. He was crowned number 1 in the world ranking of the World Padel Tour in 2018, this being one of his greatest achievements. With a record of 37 tournaments won, Sanyo is positioned as the third most successful player on the circuit.

While committing for a three-year deal with the brand, the Magician explains the reasons behind his decision: "Siux is an innovative brand that developed an incredible racquet in its own production facilities in Murcia, Spain, that enhances my playing characteristics and that has placed great trust in me." The player, who in 2022 has already won the WPT Open Reus Pro Pádel, Danish Padel Open, Vienna Padel Open and Valencia Pádel Open, relies on Siux as the brand that will accompany him in his upcoming challenges.

‘It is an honor to join this team of great players’, adds Sanyo. With athletes such as Franco Stupaczuk, Patty Llaguno, Lucho Capra, Javi Ruiz, Álvaro Cepero, Jimena Velasco, Uri Botello and Nuria Vivancos, Team Siux brings together and supports the careers of the main important players of the professional padel circuit.

Sanyo was seen for the first time wearing the Siux kit this Thursday afternoon during his last match at the Malaga Padel Open. It’s official, Sanyo is part of Team Siux.

Siux cross the ocean to install the first padel courts in America. Altogether, the Brand has already inaugurated a hundred courts in 2021, since the project began last February.

After the first Siux courts installations in Finland and Denmark, the Spanish firm has continued to expand and has manufactured more units for European countries, such as Sweden, Malta, Belgium, Italy and the Netherlands. In addition, America has inaugurated two Siux padel courts in Ecuador, in the first country in the American continent to place them. One of these courts is placed in Padel Box (Cuenca) and the other one, in Q Padel (Quito).

Thus, there are already eight countries across the world that have clubs who rely on the Spanish padel brand to install their courts, both in the field of competition and shows. The person in charge of Padel Passion, distributor of the Siux courts, Adrián Barranco, ensures that they receive “daily requests to install new courts”.
